BRIT Awards 2024 nomination – Scopri gli artisti e i gruppi nominati alla 44° edizione dei BRIT Awards la cui cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 2 marzo presso l’O2 Arena di Londra.
La cantante Raye si posiziona in cima tra gli artisti più candidati. Una mossa strategica che riflette l’impegno dei BRIT Awards nel riconoscere e celebrare un panorama musicale più ampio e diversificato.
Quest’anno infatti, in risposta alle controversie della scorsa edizione relative agli squilibri di genere (hanno vinto solo uomini), la cerimonia ha adottato misure significative per promuovere la diversità e l’inclusività.
Tra le iniziative adottate, c’è il raddoppio del numero di candidati in ogni categoria, portandolo da 5 a 10, e la creazione di una nuova categoria dedicata al genere R&B, precedentemente accorpato alla categoria pop. Questo cambiamento mira a garantire una maggiore rappresentatività e a favorire l’uguaglianza di opportunità per gli artisti di diversi generi musicali.
