Paul era in macchina insieme ad un amico, per dirigersi a un evento di beneficienza organizzato dalla sua associazione, Reach Out Worldwide, per la raccolta fondi a favore delle popolazioni colpite dal tifone Haiyan nelle Filippine. Entrambi hanno perso la vita.
Paul Walker ha raggiunto il picco di notorietà interpretando, per cinque film, il ruolo di Brian ÒConnor,un agente infiltrato nel mondo delle automobilistiche, nella saga “Fast and Furious”, al fianco di Vin Diesel e Michelle Rodriguez.
