“The show must go on”. Questa la scelta di Nick Carter di proseguire il Tour nonostante la perdita della sorella Leslie, avvenuta nella giornata del 31 Gennaio a New York.
“Amava vedermi sul palco. E’ per questo motivo che continuerò per lei” queste le dichiarazioni di Nick Carter rilasciate all’indomani della scomparsa di Leslie, 25enne, avvenuta a causa di un mix mortale di antidepressivi e calmanti.
La decisione di proseguire con la tournée non ha permesso al neo 32 enne di partecipare al funerale della sorella ed è notizia delle ultime ore che il medesimo, in realtà, si sarebbe svolto all’insaputa dello stesso Nick, che a TMZ ha dichiarato di essere molto amareggiato per non esserne stato informato, aggiungendo che la sua famiglia – per circostanze non specificate – non si è preoccupata di coinvolgerlo.
A due giorni dalla tragedia, Nick Carter è salito sul palco dell’Irving Plaza e, visibilmente commosso, ha dedicato uno dei suoi nuovi brani tratti dall’album “I’m Taking Off”, “Falling Down” di cui vi riportiamo il testo e il video dell’esibizione.
